Easter bunny comes to the Bates Estate

Not to be deterred by the rain, the Easter bunny paid a visit to the Bates Estate this Bank Holiday Monday for an Easter Fun Day!
An Easter egg hunt was organised at Moulsecoomb Hall by the Bates Estate Residents Association and after finding one of the hidden plastic eggs, local children could exchange them for an egg of the chocolate variety!
Pupils at Moulsecoomb school helped make posters for the event and a grant from the East Brighton Trust went towards the cost of the Easter egg prizes, hiring the hall and refreshments.
Dozens of children came along with their families to take part in the egg hunt and for a disco in the hall and Brian Simmons of the Residents Association said "We thought our Halloween event was a success, but this has been even better!"
