Partnership grants

Grants for

Positive Change

Our partnership grants are a commitment from East Brighton Trust to fund key local organisations with a fixed grant every year for several years (usually three). Numerous organisations in East Brighton have already reaped the benefits, here are a few of them:

Resource centre

support

The Resource Centre serves as a vital hub offering diverse aid and backing to community groups across Brighton and Hove. Since 2016, EBT has been awarding The Resource Centre an annual lump sum to facilitate targeted assistance for emerging volunteer-run groups in East Brighton.

Youth poets vs

MCs projects

East Brighton Trust granted a Partnership Grant to the BITE Youth Poets vs MCs team. The funding supported workshops held at the Crew Club, 67 Centre, and Brighton Youth Club, extending their outreach within East Brighton. The Youth Poets vs MCs initiative empowers former participants to mentor other youths in the art of poetry and rap.

Seed fund centre

at The Bevy

East Brighton Trust awarded The Bevy a £2000 grant to distribute among local groups utilising the pub for community activities. Recognising that some community groups are often not eligible for our standard small grants, this Seed Fund bridges that gap. The collaboration with The Bevy leverages our deep ties within the East Brighton community, enabling us to support local initiatives effectively.
